Christmas in Lyon

Friday, December 31st, 2004

I spent Christmas weekend in the city of Lyon this year.

Before heading over to Christmas Eve dinner at my sister-in-law’s home, I spent the day sightseeing in downtown Lyon.

First stop was the Part-Dieu shopping center where I took some photos of the Christmas display there. There’s also a Somewhere store here!

There is zero knitting going on or being planned until the dreaded “holidays” are over.
Instead, I’ll show you some of the Christmas decorations currently on display over here in Dijon, France.

Free Movie Passes

Thursday, December 9th, 2004

I have a pass (good for two people) to Spike Lee’s new movie, She Hate Me.
Since this movie is no longer playing in Dijon I’m giving my pass away to one lucky reader of my Blog.
Just e-mail me at anna@mustardzone.com with your name and address and it’s yours!

If more than one person asks I’ll choose […]

Things That Cover

Monday, December 6th, 2004

I spent a few hours Friday watching American movies on my cable and making a hat.
Our cable here is cool because it allows us to choose whether we want to see the movie in the original English, dubbed in French, or in English with French subtitles.
One movie I watched while making this hat […]
