One of the beautiful views we had while hiking the Cinque Terre trails.

This one is of very photogenic Riomaggiore.

Eleven years ago, I spent several beautiful days in Vernazza. One of my favorite memories of the hikes between towns was hearing the theme from ‘The Godfather’ being whistled over one of the garden fences as we hiked by.

    Beautiful picture.

That’s truly out of a fairy-tale. I’d not have moved from that spot for hours if I’d been there…

That is absolutely gorgeous. My husband is Italian and one of his childhood friends is getting married in Liguria in April. I can’t wait to go on that Cinque Terre hike. We spent our brief honeymoon in Portofino and Santa Margherita, but didn’t have time to see the towns of Cinque Terre.

I went to Cinque Terre this summer - it was absolutely amazing, especially since I had never heard about it before and didn’t know what to expect. I also spent a day in Portofino and Santa Margherita, which were beautiful as well, and a nice change after all that hiking!
